World water day: children's crafts
World Water Day is celebrated on March 22, let's see together what jobs we can offer to children to be able to explain to them the meaning of this day!
World water day: children's crafts
Children learn more when they play, they love manual activities, we offer a series of crafts for children for World Water Day:
Needed:
two blank sheets,
some colors and a pencil.
We take the first sheet and in the center we draw with them a happy drop of water and together with the child we draw the things to do with the water (Drinking, watering the plants, recycling rainwater for watering, closing the taps when no uses water)
In the second sheet we draw a sad droplet of water in the center and together with the child we draw the things not to do with water (Leave the taps open, waste water unnecessarily)
World water day: crafts for elementary school children
Based on the age of the children, we can think of giving more news, when we talk about the world water day and think about the jobs for elementary school children we can also take the opportunity to explain to them the water cycle, or the life cycle of the system. Earth, this cycle includes the following physical processes: evaporation, condensation, precipitation, infiltration, flow and underground flow. It is very important to explain it to children because it is thanks to it that water is regenerated, and without water life on Earth would end.
Nursery rhymes on world water day
For the world water day and children's crafts, we thought of offering you a nursery rhyme by Jolanda Restano.
Nursery rhyme about saving water
While singing I take a shower
I shut off the water and save the drop.
Drop falling from the tap
if I turn off the water, I save a pond!
I save a lake if I wash less
I close the water and live peacefully;
I live peacefully doing laundry
if the basket is full I have not wasted;
I haven't wasted a single drop
if I take a shower instead of a bath
If I shower the dog
without the pump, but with the basin.
I use a basin for the dishes
water saving for many bottles;
lots of savings bottles for the time being
that I bathe the plants in the evening, at sunset;
after sunset we have dinner and go to bed
I wash my teeth by turning off the tap!
I turn off the tap and save… you know what?
Transparent, fresh and precious water,
precious, pure, clear and clean,
moist, shiny and life giving!
